How to run GTA.IV without ROCKSTAR LAUNCHER

dude i need help bad i want to play my game but i forgot my rockstar account and this ♥♥♥♥ wont let me even go offline a ♥♥♥♥♥ need some help!?! playing this classic does anybody know a fix or a file or if i need to downgrade .. lead me step by step

The best course of action is recovering your Rockstar account. Very easy if you once linked a Xbox Live / PlayStation account for which you do still have the credentials to that Rockstar account (supposedly simply by playing a Rockstar game on console). "Sign in using" at

https://signin.rockstargames.com/signin/user-form?cid=socialclub

You can then once so logged in view/change first email and then password.

If not the above, still very easy if you still have access to the for the Rockstar account used email address:

https://signin.rockstargames.com/forgotten-password?cid=rsgsupport

If not sure which email address; guessing at a few used ones tends to be effective.

The then next option of going through Rockstar support does unfortunately not tend to be effective -- but I'd be trying anyway.

If really need be you can downgrade to a pre-RGL version 1.0.x.0. No experience with the guide but I believe this one's current and okay:

Just do the 1080 patch and xlive.dll. Then rename PlayGTAIV.exe to LaunchGTAIV.exe.

UM.................i think if you do it that way your name will not be listed as playing gta...it will not be avail for all players too c...................

Don't downgrade your steam version. Make a copy and put it in "Rockstar Games\GTAIV\".
