King of Qub3d achievement

So for the past few days i've been trying to get "King of Qub3d" achievement on GTA 4, but for some reason i can't do it. Can anyone help with this?

Not sure it's (again) related but have you capped FPS? Most of the mini-games are from hard to impossible as soon as you go over 30 FPS. If you haven't: install FusionFix (good idea anyway) and use the frame-limiter it introduces into the graphics options to cap to 30.

I remember from my first "complete" run, back then on crummy hardware but with 30 probably obtained, that it was rather hard; had to play a long time.

no, it's not the fps cap, it's an arcade game and you have to beat the high score

The game GTA4 needs its F(rames) P(er) S(econd) limited to at most 60, and for some of the mini-games to 30; for example TLaD arm-wresting is for practical intents and purposes near impossible fast once above 30: GTA4 is a PS3/Xbox360 game originally, and all its timing is still geared towards the max 30 of those old consoles.

As said, not sure if qub3d is among the ones that get harder, much harder or even impossible at high(er) FPS -- but if you haven't tried limiting and are at it already a few days you should try that.

so i tried it but i still can't get it the highest i got was 3500

OK. Unfortunately no other advise available then other than "keep at it". First time for me was when the game was still a GFWL-game (and therefore the achievements Xbox ones) and I recall it was murderous -- until it finally just worked. Redid it when the game became an RGL-game in 2020 with Steam-achievements and took a few hours only IIRC.
