Removed radio stations??

Did i read that correctly? Say what you will but i don't think GTA 4 is playable when the most iconic legendary radio stations have been removed. How the hell is this even possible???

With the downgrader you can select to have the old songs installed again I am pretty positive.

Licensing. Rockstar didn't want to pay the artists to keep their music in the game. So new copies get new radio stations and those who bought it before they wouldn't pay, also get new radio stations, due to the way steam stores and sells games.

Man this is ridiculous, they claim it's "temporary" but it has been years lmao. Alright well if it's still possible to get them with this downgrade thing and mods then i guess ....

Just use Independence F.M. and use your own jams. The news broadcasts will be the same but you get to listen to Gary Sheen, the D.J., take the piss out of your listening choices.

Its one of the negative reasons for digital games, sadly. But thankfully the fans have a solution. Worst case, its all over Youtube as well.
