Report a translation problem
So you set game run higher resolution than your display.
For example, I can set 2560x1600 / 30fps for my Steam Deck (native display is 1280x800).
No more jagged edges.
There is a DXVK compatible SweetFX option for aliasing however it doesn't work on an up to date copy of Complete Edition. You'd have to downgrade to 1.8 or 1.7. I'll link you the page for the SweetFX instructions if you wanna downgrade and try it out.

P.S. I also recommend the Console Visuals mod. Replacing the trees with console version, among other things, really helps. Less shimmery and whatnot. You will ultimately have to deal with some aliasing. But it can be helped.
But well, it's almost a retro game already, so some retro feeling can't hurt.
Consider it as some sort of time travelling ;-)
