[FIXED] Unable to load ScriptHookDotNet.asi Error:126

When I launch the game I get the error and after clicking OK the game runs and everything works except the LCPDFR mod.

This is caused by the LCPDFR mod, I just have no idea how to fix it. Also tried installing older versions but no results. I'm on patch 1070.

I have also installed CryENB V3, ELS_V8.51 and other LCPDFR related mods and skins but they cause no issues. Surprisingly, I know...

If anyone knows how to fix the error, please let me know.

EDIT: Now it just crashes on startup. I don't even know what I did...

But hey, at least I no longer get error 126. 😂

If anyone has a fix for this crash on startup or error 126 I would appreciate your help.

EDIT : The crash on start up is 1000% because of the complete edition patch.
(When I dont add it, I get no errors game runs totally fine even tho lcpdfr doesnt load)
(When I do add it, the game crashes instantly after loading the game.)

Error 126 could potentially be because your not using specific scripthook/dotnet
for that "era" you have to keep in mind (not that you havent bcus idk) that because were downgrading we essentially have to find the relevant requirements dated towards that version.

Assuming you downgraded to 1.0.7.0, you wont be able to load previous saves. You would have to make a new save passing the prologue minimum from my understanding.

Also these days you have to use "Xliveless" because the online multiplayer doesnt allow you to make saves without it but then you have to delete dinput.dll because you cannot have both at once.

I been trying to do this for weeks... Ive managed to get my game to entirely work. Any error you got I probably can help.. problem is, I get no errors anymore or crashes, However when I press Alt+P or whatever the shortcut is.. nothing happens

in other words my installed lcpdfr does nothing, not even an error or crash that i could work with it just literally act like i dont even have it installed. let me know if you need help maybe we can help each other.

I have viped out the game from my PC, reinstalled, downgraded, installed everything again and now I'm getting error 126 again.

There is also xlive.dll and dsound.dll in my library, but no dinput.dll. I already tried running the game with only xlive.dll or dsound.dll, but it was useless. (It wouldn't run without xlive.dll).

Nothing else worked for me, not even the original patch from Rockstar, which is weird because when The Complete Edition came out, almost every downgrade method worked fine.

And if anyone is wondering, playing LCPDFR on The Complete Edition doesn't work either. Not even with the new LCPDFR Legacy Edition and Compatibility Patch made for it.

i got a problem too, I downgraded gta 4 to 1070, and it’s always a error with scripthookdotnet.asi.!!! I tried so many methods, but it’s still gives me this error. Have you find the solution?

just way till your able to play your desktop again and do it to gta 5, I know your on your laptop but its not worth it because I attempted this bs for like a whole month and never found how to make it work.

im on PC and i dont play gta 4 rly anymore and gta 5 is just paywall with mods for money

disagree because most of the mainstream mods are entirely free, the mods you are likely mentioning have nothing to do with LSPDFR or relevant police mods.
