cant change control mapping

So I'm trying to change the controls mapping for the game because I play on laptop so its impossible for me to play with the default aiming and shooting controls, but when I try to change the controls and save them, it says a critical key is unmapped. Rockstar support aren't being much of a help either so please does anyone have a fix?

I figured it out, for some reason you can't map things to certain keys like I tried mapping the action key to Y because I want the horn to be on e(cuz of gta 5 i have my horn on the e key) but I guess Y can't be used but ye I got it sorted out now

What did you end up mapping to? Trying to get the action key to work on my DS4 while driving.

I forgot but you kind of just have to play with the keys a little bit, like experiment which keys you can map the controls to
