GTA 4 Crashing on startup
Every time i try to launch GTA IV it crashes on the first loading screen, I've reinstalled the game multiple times and it has not fixed it.

I start steam, then start the game from my steam library
only way it works for me, not sure why

no, I've looked but i can't find anything that has worked

delete everything from main directory then uninstall then reinstall

If anyone still has the same problem I have something that could work for you. Go to game's directory and start the game by clicking on PlayGTAIV.exe. İf still it does not work, right click on it go to compatibility and check the box "Run this program as an administrator".
