Roman does not ask to go bowling

Ever since GTA IV has been around, there has been this meme where Roman always asks to go bowling and everyone always talks about Roman always asking to go bowling. I have been playing GTA IV for quite a while now and Roman hasn't asked me go bowling once. Is this something that was patched by Rockstar or was it just a joke the whole time. I just wanna know.

its weird, i remember many years ago when i played gta 4 new, i remember getting alot of calls from roman. currently im playing it again with the newest version and i remember only one. i guess its cuz i was doing alot of exploring and random stuff when i played it first compared to now where i just do the missions
