Only one thinking gta iv is the best game ever?

I love the dark and gritty athmosphere, i loved this game start to finish, i played 3k hours on ps3.

It is by far the best game, it's a classic but the game controlled horrendously, on pc and on console. It was easily looked passed because the story and characters are very memorable. I played it once fully but couldn't find a excuse to get back into it.

I hate to break this to you, but as a long time fan who has played every single GTA game ever made, this is the worst one. It is humourless, unnecessarily dark, lacked many of the features from previous games and was generally boring compared to the other GTA games. The whole going on dates things was beyond lame.

Also Roman is the second worst character ever invented right after Jar Jar Binks.

The mods made this game great. Thank god for mods.

If you can handle the context of when it was created, i think Vice City is ths shinging jewel in the GTA series. I bet we see it again in GTA6.

They said in GTA6 the primary story location will be new, possibly even Tokyo but you will be able to visit other full sized major cities like Los Santos, Liberty City, Las Venturas, Vice City. So the 60 gig size will triple.

I really hope its not in Tokyo. They remade Liberty City in GTA IV and San Andreas in GTA V, so why not remake Vice City in the next game?

I really doubt it will be Tokyo, i think they threw that out as a red herring and to also let us know it will be something completely new. Maybe we start in a new city and have to flee to an old fav like Vice City.

A few years ago there were rumors they wanted to do a city in the midwest like Chicago or Detroit, Minneapolis something like that to complete the cross country trek. If we get two or more cities in the same game i will be happy with their attempt.

I agree. Also the car damage in GTA IV is much better. One thing I was looking forward to in GTA V was improved car damage and I was highly disappointed with what they did. It feels as if the car damage got a downgrade.
