Map Won't Load

Will someone please help me? The games starts but the buildings and roads do not load. Anyone else got this problem?

Go to your GTA IV main folder exemple : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV

Then make a "commandline.txt" file and write this inside :
-norestrictions
-availablevidmem 8
-nomemrestrict

Save the file and enjoy the game :)

Same here like roads not loading seeing cars and buildings literally in the sky? Oh yeah, also have windows 10 and I literally just gave up on this game a while ago because to be honest, no one knows or gives the correct answers to fixing this problem. Im not sure if this is just GTA 4 and lower or if this problem persists with GTA 5 too. Very frustrating for sure though when you can play this game then upgrade to a windows 10 then boom, it doesnt work..yeah its complete bull crap.

I play on windows 10 and my game works perfectly fine.
Try to do the same things as in this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIxn2ekW-g4 and I hope it works ^^
