GTA IV won't launch with ICEnhancer or similar mods

I've tried ICEnhancer, ENBuzz Natural, ENB Classic, and I can't get the game to launch with any of these. Either the game crashes without an error message before it even opens, or it starts to load and goes to fullscreen, then crashes with the standard 'application stopped working' dialog box after about 2 seconds, depending on which mod I'm trying.

I'm running an i5 4690K with a GTX 760 and Win 7 x64.

Any ideas?

Have you tried icehancer 3.0 1070 mod? That's the only one I can get working, every time I try to downgrade to 1040 I get the same results as you.

Yeah, I haven't tried the downgrade yet. I'm using the 1070 version of the mod.

Thanks, deleting d3d9.dll seemed to get me a little bit closer. The game launches now, but when I start a new game, I don't see any of the intro video, just some really faded shapes in the background. I skipped that to get to the game, but everything except for the HUD is black. I can see the minimap and everything fine, but I can't see the player or the roads or buildings or anything. Just black.

tbogt keeps crashing with ICEnhancer 3.0

every time i i click play on tbogt it crashes my game everytime i play the first mission i love LC can anyone help me?

Try downgrading to 1.0.4.0, or something. I'm not sure what's the mod friendly version of EFLC is.

Need some help. iCEnhancer 3.0 Not launching GTA 4

Pretty much what is says up top, Game works alone. Installed this just the way it said everywhere else, and then nothing happens. I get to the socal club login (1.0.7.0 I think is the steam version) Hit play, the game loads a black screen, but before it can get to the copyrights screen, crash. No message, just straight up, game quits. Thoughts anyone?

i have a solution, delete your gta iv and reinstall, worked for me.... 3.0 is jusjnk, 2.1 works just fine. if I want GTA V like graphics, I will buy GTA V, (Update) already did, so when the gta iv conversion happens in gta v, ill be set. thanks guys.

Please just dont try this you will lost your saved game it did for me too i was at 60% and now i have to start all over again
