The mission where you kill Dimitri is bugged (A revenger's tragedy)

Dimitri's chopper keeps crashing in the city so the sequence doesn't work correctly.

It doesn't help that every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time I have to redo the mission from some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it decides to bug out when my run of the mission is up to that point successful.

EDIT: Just realized this mission is impossible without a controller. Because you have to use the numpad to steer since the mouse is so ineffective at steering the chopper, which prevents you from using the miniguns, thus making it impossible to attack him.

I give up on this mission. There's too many thing wrong with it for it to be worth wasting time with it. Looks like my playthrough is over. I'm just going to watch someone else play the mission and be done with the game. Pretty sad Rockstar can't even patch a mission to make it possible to finish.

The worst part is the helicopter controls bar far. You have to choose between being able to use the miniguns, which makes it nearly impossible to steer, or using the numpad, but then you can't shoot. It's just terrible how hard is it to modify helicopter steering to make it compatible with PC. Literally the worst helicopter handling in any game I have ever played, and I thought battlefield's inverted up-down was bad. This is just piss poor.

Doubt. The mouse isn't practical for steering but it's the only way you could have used the miniguns, and the numpad isn't much better but at least it's feasible.

You can change the controls of the helicopter in the game's settings. I agree that the numpad config is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but if you just change that to something more suitable the helis are quite easy to handle.

EDIT: And I gotta agree with Mersh, I also completed the game several times using the keyboard.
Sure, there are sometimes annoying bugs which sometimes even cause the game to crash. But at least for me, that is pretty rare.

Alright I’ll reconfigure the heli controls and see if it helps.

I don't even have a controller and fi ished the game several times during the last 14 years.
so its definitely possible. git gud. ;-)
