X Live Less GTA IV 1.8.0 ?
Everything is the title, someone knows if it will happen? Because i'm starting to get the key exceeded message from Games For Windows Live (this thing is really crap) and i've already searched on the net. The support of GFWL is dead so there is no way to contact them to telling them to fix their crap.

Rockstar on the other hand, can't do nothing since it's not their program who is at fault to begin with.

The game's activation works fine but when i want to connect to GFWL to retrieve my saves, it tells me that i can no longer activate iit because i used it too much time. ( They're not kidding with their bullsh******t.)

Please don't tell me to downgrade because i don't want to, 1.7.0 run like garbage on my rig meanwhile 1.8.0 run at solid 60 fps.

I just want to know if someone is working at it. It really help, also please don't tell to buy another key. There's absolutely no way i will buy something i've already paid.

Thanks for anyone who will take the time to answer me.

I don't understand how it can cause worse performance if you downgrade to 1.0.7.0... I am currently using that patch and I get 60-100 FPS maxed out. There's really nothing you can do then. It's either, you upgrade your computer, you downgrade, or you deal with it.

Your choice buddy. Choose wisley.

I use V-Sync because i can't stand screen tearing. 1.7.0 is, capped at 54 fps while 1.8.0 at 60 fps.

Upgrade? That is the game is optimized as sh***t, Corei7 4790K 4.8 Ghz OC Asus 980 Ti Strix OC 32 GB RAM DDR3 OC 2400Mhz you're telling me to upgrade my rig? Are you sure?

It is enough for this game, GTA V on the other hand run full speed everything maxxed out....

Anyways thanks for your answer man.

Well I have my i7 4790K at 4.6 The, 32GB ddr3 ram at 1866 MHZ and a GTX 1070 FE and I can play both patched at maxed 1080p with over 60 to 90 FPS. Maybe try downgrading to 1.0.4.0

There is something called X Live lessAddon but I have trouble finding it.

Another possible? alternative is getting ultimate asi loader, renaming it to xlive.dll and putting it into the game folder:

Thank you, just tried it and it works. Just one more question, my previous saves from GFWL seems te be incompatible. There's nothing i can do? Aside from restarting a new game?

Nope. GFWL saves aren't compatible with non GFWL saves.
