"Rockstar Social Club failed to initialize. Error 4"

Is this from modding or a Rockstar update? My game worked fine for an hour then crashed. Now it doesn't even get past the intro.

It's the new update, they did something with social club that screwed it up. Doing the same thing to me, and all I have are a couple self-made texture mods.

This error typically occurs when a file required by the Rockstar Games Social Club Service is corrupt or missing and can be resolved by performing a clean installation of the Rockstar Games Launcher, which you can do by following the steps below:

Restart your PC
Open the Windows Control Panel
Under the Programs tab, click Uninstall a Program
Find and right-click on the Rockstar Games Launcher and select Uninstall
Find and right-click on the Rockstar Games Social Club and select Uninstall
Open the Windows File Explorer
Locate and delete the following folders (if a folder is not there, you may skip it):
C:\Users[USERNAME]\Documents\Rockstar Games\Social Club
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Social Club
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Social Club
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Launcher
C:\Users[USERNAME]\Documents\Rockstar Games\Launcher
Reinstall the Rockstar Games Launcher from https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/rockstar-games-launcher and make sure that it installs in the default location

ive been sitting here for 4 1\2 hours trying every single fix on the internet hell even ♥♥♥♥ from 2013 and nothing works. ive got rid of mods cleaned my pc deleted anything associated with Steam\Windows Gaming\GTA\Rockstar tried them on every version of windows and reinstalled multiple times at this point i have given up. i think this is a ploy to get as many of us as they can on 5 since the trailer for the new version of 5 came out most of us have been in uproar and most have resorted back to older GTA's and they have noticed.

It is funny how there's no error messages reported on the GTA V forum, but there is on LA Noire.
