nope its dead af due to the bug in mp that causes the server to kick you due to low fps even if you dont have low fps

that and even if you manage to get a lobby you will get a modder who just joins to trolls the entire game

getting kicked randomly from other peoples games is a nat problem. to avoid getting kicked you would have to be the host. with moderate nat type you will get kicked as soon as anyone else that has moderate joins.

You may try going corded with your lan set up to get your nat type open. Wifi is not aways that great and could be the cause of dissconnections too. also try to set your network to home if you can figuer that one out.

There are still people here and the online but not as many since GTA V came to release
GTA IV was also broken for quite a while discouraging people to go on multiplayer because it didn't want to launch for a bunch.

While I'd like to see the multiplayer back to life, the damage has already been done.

In my opinion the multiplayer is doing well, but I do agree it could be better if people knew how to use google

The multiplayer part of the game is completely removed, You won't find any servers. Just get a crack to play on the cracked seervers that ACTUALLY work Gta 4 is dead and gone as far as i was told and learned. Windows LIVE support for Gta 4 is dead so you can't sign in anymore which means saving the game is impossible on legit copies so only cracks work right anymore.

there is decent ammount of people playing GTA IV multiplayer, althought there is almost a confirmed chance of a modder, since the newest patch was in 2016 (I believe). So if the modder is nice to you, you might get some free cash.
