How do I know if i'm playing main story missions?
For the past two or three weeks i've been playing this game for the first time but im rather confused if I am progressing in the game or not. So far I was doing missions from friends in the contact list but not sure if they would count. I'M ALSO SORRY MANNY, I REALLY LIKED YOU. I DIDN'T KNOW ELIZIBETA WOULD KILL YOU

If there's a marker on the map like "LJ" for Little Jacob or "P" for Patrick McReary then that's a story mission. There are also some side missions marked on the map like the assassination missions, but you'll recognise these by a lack of cutscene and the fact that they're generally the same thing over and over again. If you call a contact or friend like Brucie and do a repeatable activity like racing, then that's not a story mission.

This GTA was different in that there really wasn't a lot to do non-story wise, so I don't think you have to worry about not making progress. If you've met Manny you've already made decent progress.

Also, what did you like about Manny? I think when this game was first released most people were delighted that he was killed.

Manny seemed to have good intentions about helping kids grow up right and with proper education, which I liked. Then Elizibeta spazzed out so now his organs got donated lmao. I was so shocked in awe knowing his plans wouldnt happen.

Another similar thing happened with Playboy X where he wanted me to kill Dwayne. So I did and X ridicules me about it. At least I got a new safehouse. Man I love this game so much already. Its pretty cool

Yeah Manny might have had good intentions, but really to me he looked like he favoured fame and fortune rather than the message. Even tho he was an a$$, didn't deserve to die lol. As for story missions, generally most of them do progress the story bit by bit, but some are like "major" story missions whereas others are ones that slowly advance the narrative a bit.
