GTA 4 Multiplayer ez. gta:o is poorly designed, grindy trash built on top of poorly designed gameplay mechanics.

Well Rockstar decided it was best to get rid of 4's multiplayer and 5 online is making them billions so technically 5 online, but personally speaking if 4 didn't have shark cards or any other pay to win mechanics or a high number of cheaters I'd choose 4, but I don't know cause I never got to play.

Well, they didn't technically get rid of it (because they can't) as it's still playable via GFWL (although we all moved to GTA Connected).

l agree, there are highly expensive stuff in GTAO that players especially those who are beginners or have no single experience can be able to afford and thus need to get few of them Sharkcards in order to enjoy more of it which isnt the case in 4's Multiplayer

I like having to buy guns and cars in GTA Online. But nothing will be better than the chaos of the GTA 4 Free Roam lobbies. Find whatever car and gun you can get your hands on and get ready for an ass ramming.

early 2013 I would say gta:o is better, 2014 on gta 4 did it better, I still am disappointed in how bad R* screwed the pooch on gta online

They really did. They messed everything up ever since they removed the account transfer detail between platforms from GTAO. lts completely ridiculous to start all over again in PC even though I had much more in my account on the PS4 and have to spend shark cards all over again in order to get to the same level.

Early GTA Online was solid. Now? Ruined. Up to this point it's just a cash grab futuristic bs that's trying too hard to be a saints row.

I prefer GTA Online, but I haven't played for awhile and I see complaining about what it's become, but I do prefer GTA IV's story.
Maybe, if it was like early GTA IV I might prefer it because I do remember having fun back then in gamemodes like cops and crooks but it could also be nostalgia.
I do have a problem with Take-Two milking GTA Online, and every update feels like push to get you to buy shark cards which is part of the reason I hate GTA V/Online. Game feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ souless.

GTA Online. Even though it has its issues with griefers and modders its quite enjoyable for me. And I like business stuff in the game like owning MC Clubs too

Couldn't agree more with you sir. l also didnt play GTAO for some months on the PS4 since my last Ps plus membership had been already expired. Another reason l asked this was to know whether it is still worth it on the PC, yet it seems that many players have a negative view about it and often tend to complain about lobbies filled with modders which however isn't the case in consoles.
