FOV and mouse sensitivity
How do I increase my FOV and decrease the mouse sensitivity? The camera modes are too inconsistent, and I play in ultrawide, so I really don't like lower FOV. The mouse sensitivity is a huge problem. Even with the lowest option and windows mouse sensitivity set to its lowest value, the sensitivity in game is still way too high. I looked online but all of the results were for GTA 5. Any help?

It didn't do anything. There is some kind of forced mouse acceleration.

Turn off mouse sensitivity for GTA IV all the way DOWN (The Mouse Sensitivity for GTA IV not your PC's). That option is basically mouse acceleration and when you turn it off it starts using your PC's actual mouse sensitivity

Also to lower FOV press on V, it has 3 set FOV options so you can't change your FOV precisely the way you want to

Yes, I am already at the lowest and it still feels far too high. I did use a registry edit to force-disable windows mouse acceleration and it made it better. But the sensitivity is still too high. I am not too concerned about the FOV, was just curious if there was a mod to change it like san andreas or GTA 5. How does rockstar ♥♥♥♥ up a port so badly that they forget to include a low sensitivity option? Ironically enough, when I played with a controller, the sensitivity, even at the highest, felt far too low. Although I am not good with controllers, so maybe there was another option that fixed it.

yeah, the mouse sens is quite high with fusion fix. the only solution to play with a 200-400 dpi mouse. still better than the original though

(Already mentioned) Step 1: Turn Gta IV mouse sense to 0

0sens, 800dpi, and windows pointer speed at the halfway mark is what I play on and it feels fine. Make sure you've tried restarting your game if, for any reason, it feels like the settings are not applying.

If you need to lower it further, then the next two things to check are your dpi and windows pointer speed. DPI can be checked through whatever mouse buttons/programs you have for your mouse. Windows pointer speed can be checked through: control panel->hardware->mouse->pointer options. Make sure enhanced pointer precision (aka acceleration) is turned off.
