Backing up primary comment, BIG FALSE positive.
Hello,

Primo,

Thanks you for you comments,

So I reinstall the game and Security windows discover a new on :

- Trojan:Script/Foretype.A!ml

So I contact steam support, and the answer is : False Positive.

I now, maybe you think I'm be some paranoia, But, it's very bizarre, last week, i download the game, and security windows discover nothing.

So I contact Windows Support to see they can analyse this.

Microsoft is indeed the correct point of approach here, but note that it's not too bizarre. Virus scanners for the most part and as to the part relevant here simply compare byte sequences and/or patterns of such as found in known viruses ("signatures") to bytes sequences as found on your drive and/or in something being downloaded. At the point of having many, many such signatures scanned for, and local (game-)drives easily straddling 2TB of data, it becomes a near-certainty that one or more false positives happen. Apparently the specific false positives were in this case introduced in a recent Windows defender virus signature list update.

"Virus scanners" (suites) can do more things than scanning viruses, but that specific scanning part you are in fact quite often better of disabling outright if you're not computer-savvy enough to decide between the 99% nonsense and 1% possible usefulness of said scanning (and actively whitelist former).

Windows defender is not the worst solution out there, but generally, users trust security software far too much when it says something is amiss. Sure, something can be amiss, but mostly said something is the dumb virus scanner itself.

so its a false positive for sure? anyone got answers from rockstar games? im kinda paranoid here lol

It's a game graphical resource file; not executable code. It's not a virus. There's no reason to take some bugridden piece of shat virus scanner's word for anything over own basic sense.

The existence and size of the market for the e.g. McAfee and Norton "security" suites proves that you are not alone. As said, Windows Defender isn't in fact as bad, but is still at essence a ridiculous piece of software aiming to solve a problem 90+ percent of Windows users think 90+ percent bigger than it actually is. Just don't be younger than 12, older than 80, preferably have at most a minor few explicit mental retardations generally, and you'll for a very large part be fine even without a virus scanner gobbling up your computer's resources.

Enjoy GTA4 :)
