How to fix "game not saving".
Hello again, I made a post recently where I talked about the issues I ran into while playing the complete edition. I've undertaken a lot of testing as well as some digging to find out how to work around the fact that the game won't load a save.

Why the saving issue happens:
When rockstar removed the microsoft online thing, they forgot to change the code that handles saves. Microsoft was the people who handled saves back then. It's that simple.

Fix
In order to solve the issue, all you have to do is to delete all manual save(s) you have, and rely on autosaves. After you've removed the manual save(s) open the game, play any mission or do any activity that would trigger the autosave feature. If you've done everything correctly, the game will tell you that the autosave is about to overwrite an old manual save, click yes. Now, close the game and start it up again. You will spawn back at the nearest safe house (if you have one) with whatever mission or activity still saved. You've now successfully worked your way around the saving issue. You can now play the game as normal, as long as you don't make a manual save again. Auto saves occur more often than you might think, to the point that manual saving isn't needed at all.

I know this isn't an ideal solution, but it's better than not being able to save the game at all. I've tried this, my own method on three of my work stations and I can confirm that my method works on all of them. All of them have the same issue with saving until I removed the manual saves. All it takes to break the game is one save, so stay away from them.

I hope that I was able to bring forth something of value and worth to the saving issue. I also hope this works for anyone who tries it.
