Low fps with RTX 3080

Revisiting the game after years and years.
Game dips to like 40-50 fps frequently on max settings 3840x1600 (night shadows off)
Anyone has the same experience or is there a setting that messes it up?

Hard to say really, I'm maxing everything out on 1080p with only an gtx 1060 and i5-6600k.
I'm getting around 60-70 fps but of course the resolution makes a difference too. Maybe start by reducing the vehicle render distance or something, that seemed to be the most important setting for me.

Wzup man, Recently finished of my new pc build and got a R7 5800x with a Suprim X RTX 3080 32gb RAM. playing on a 1440p monitor. Maxing out everything in the game, even the stuff no one cares about and getting a constant 130 - 170 fps average i would say. Check your GPU usage on GPU-Z or something. Got the exact thing you get on GTA 4 but i got it on Fallout 4. Maxed out everything on the game, got about 82fps but just 10% GPU usage so the game crashed after like 30 seconds. Fortunate for me i just wanted to see how Fallout 4 ran on a RTX 3080 and didnt really wanna play it so didnt bother fixing the issue but it seems like you actually want to play GTA 4 so for you this is kind of a issue. Should be easy to fix although! Check your GPU usage using software like GPU-Z and then proceed to check your problem for any solution on reddit or youtube. Someone else has also most likely had issues like you! Good luck!

Yeah i put those back to auto and fps is solid now!
Also tried the vulcan mod but that actually makes it worse :)

Suppp i just put back vehicles and distance to auto and now solid 120-144fps
