so i downgraded gta 4 just now so how do i install my saved files to this version?

Save data files were previously located in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames before the update combining GTAIV and GTAIV:EFLC.

The new updated game (GTA IV: The Complete Edition) draws save data from C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\Profiles\PROFILE_NAME\ . You should be able to place any old saved data in your profile folder and it should load when you launch the game.

If the profile folder does not exist yet, start a new game, complete the first mission and save at your safehouse; this will create save data in this folder.

i literally cannot find it at all, even after doing the first mission. ive already looked everywhere and somehow theres nothing in my documents folder. could u help?

It might be a little too late to reply but i found my save game files in this path
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SocialClub Emu Saves\GTA IV\0F74F4C4
