sort of... i can get it to run but it will not save my progress or log into my rockstar account(s). also its the only game i own that cannot detect my controller for some reason. i love gta4 and would def reccomend it be played, just dont get it off steam...

im sorry didnt mean to make u change oppinions of the game itself, gta4 is one of the best games of all time and a platinum hit title. i could play it again and again, im just a tad frustrated that i cant play it after buying it.

oh, you dont have to tell me man, i played the game many summers i honestly think its better then 5. Everything in the game just seems less scripted the fighting and shooting was fun. honestly im thinking of getting it and if it dont work ill refund it.

actually i bought a disc version for pc, but my pc has no discdrive there isnt a way i can get it digital for free right?

I played it with all the dlcs. everything worked fine. but not steam version from disk

It got an update, 1.0.8.0, its Windows 10 compatible now, it works fine on my PC! (Steam Version)

I got GTA 4 on sale and downloaded it but unfortunately i m not able to play the game. It just hangs. No error message displayed.

yes aparently there are more than one Rockstar service, i wish i could help u guys, but ive made 3 profiles with gta4 rockstar, and it will not validate any of them. claims the information is all correct until it comes time to hit enter, then magically, my information is incorrect...
