Helicoptor controls

Is there a way to change it so that I don't need 3 hands to control the Helicopters? It's basically impossible to pilot them. You need to use WASD, the Number pad, AND the mouse? Who designed this and why? I can't recall a worse control scheme in any other game.

I do never use The Mouse to control the Helicopter ... only WASD And Number Pad ... You Even Can disable mouse control in the options of the game , if you want...

But you need the mouse to move the camera so you can see where you're going and what you are shooting. I have played plenty of games with helicopter controls that were so much better than this. It's utterly aggravating.

It's stupid like this because it's a port. That's one of the reasons why I use an Xbox 360 controller to drive and pilot. It makes the whole experience much more fun and better to control the vehicles.

After reading a bunch about others having similar problems, I think this might be the best solution. I forgot this game wasn't designed for PC. I borrowed an xbox controller to play Dark Souls for the same reason. Don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. Cheers!

Disable mouse control for helicopters, plain and simple. Of course you can still use the mouse to rotate the camera around the chopper, it just just doesn't affect the choppers movement anymore.

You know that you can edit controls to be the way you would like right? I changed it to gta 5's controls and my flying is fine.

Are you blind or do you not see what's in front of you? When shooting, you have tracer bullets, and if that's not good enough, switch to bumper camera/first person view, then you have a clear view of everything and a crosshair. These two matches were played exclusively with keyboard:

No one wants to play like that... your solution is ♥♥♥♥. Everyone always switches to a controller when in flight in any GTA.

i have my heli controls set up like this:
mouse control off
W and S to pitch forward and backward
A and D to yaw right and left
numpad 4 and 6 to rotate left and right
shift to go up and control to go down

setting it up like this is most comfortable to me and might be to you as well

Don't speak in absolutes. I makes you look silly when people like myself come in and tell you that no, i do not use a controller for flight in gta.

Obviously you saw it as an absolute and I obviously didn't mean 100 percent of all gta players switch to controller that would be ridiculous. My friends and I and many other switch to controllers and I honestly wouldn't doubt if more people used controller for flight than KB especially for gta 5.

Man .. I do not undersand the problem you guys have withc the mouse haha.... I only use WASD and NUMBPAD And the shift if i want to shoot ... OBS : I Did All achivments inclunding TBoGT And never use the mouse ;-; ... I say this because there is some three or four missions that you need to use the chopper and shoot with the chooper ... And I use the shift to shoot..
