can mods be put into the gta iv of rockstar launcher?

And how would you do it

I think you should just try for yourself instead of asking this question here on the steam forum.Just find the directory of your gta 4 and install the mod the way it needs to be installed.

I tried it and the mods didn't work, that's why I asked. I should have asked better

I heard that on rockstar launcher game reinstalls any files you change so.......if you directly follow the instructions and it doesn't work then I don't think there is anything you can do.

Most mods don't work so I still wouldn't bother but in-case you or others do, add a
-skippatchercheck into the RGL IV commandlines (Open RGL>Settings>Grand Theft Auto IV) or if it's not there, go into main directory, make a txt file called commandline.txt, open it, add it, then go into steam and do it there (right-click IV>properties>set launch options>add it)
