Parked cars won't save anymore?

So... I just started a new game in GTA IV and noticed that when I park a car in front of my safehouse in the designated spot... these cars are gone once I load a save... this is not how it was before the latest update right?

Well my cars are still there after i load again.
Is it manuel save you load
or an auto save you reload?

Good Point! I saved manually before quitting the game and then just hit "start" in the main menu and did not realize the game would load my last "auto save"... so yeah, that was the problem!

Anyway... why doesn't the game automatically load my last save, no matter if manual or auto? This way I have to load an auto-save first to then load my manual save... really dumb.

Most recent save will always be loaded but for some reason the rockstar launcher will give some saves the same time/date stamp if you enable the launcher's cloud save and restart the game. If both saves share the same date/time the game will prioritize the autosave. It may have something to do with having two clouds active so just disable rockstar's and you should be good.

You can just disable the auto save option in game.I have it off in every game I play.

well... I am okay with the auto-save. but the game should just load my last save! but disabling cloud saving fixed that

Or manually load autosave everytime.

Yeah! Problem was... the game would auto-save after a mission. But before quitting I would at least find a nice car, park it in front of the safe-house and then save manually and quit the game. If I wanted to load my manual save I would now have to boot the game, press start, and it would load my last auto-save instead of my manual save some minutes later. So to get to my manual save I would first have to load the auto-save (you can't load a save unless you at least click "start"). Then go to the menu to load my manual save. This was kinda dumb to load the game two times. But now that I disabled cloud-saving in the rockstar launcher it just loads my last save when I click "start", no matter if it is a manual or an auto-save which is the expected behaviour.
