convert Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition back to EFLC and GTA IV which are mod compatible?

Anyone knows how to do that?

Even a link to some fix that would allow to run GTA4 mods would be great, since that's the main reason I want to do it.

I'm hoping there's a way to use script hook or dsound on CE.

.dll must be placed in the root folder, .asi can be placed either there or in \plugins. For the rest you to take a look at the readme file.

I just put everything in the root folder and it works, I can use my trainer (Simple Native Trainer 6.5)

Edit : if you download a mod that says you need a certain file called "dsound.dll" or if it tells you to drag files in the game folder and you see it contains a file called like that, you don't need it. Ultimate ASI Loader does the job. Never replace ScriptHook.dll.

Hey dude, thanks for this. However am i able to downgrade it to 1.0.4.0 after doing this? i want to play with some graphics mods, however i need to downgrade for that.

After downgrading, you will have to remove AdvancedHook, downgrade ScriptHook too (I suggest .NET ScriptHook[hazardx.com]) and probably use another ASI Loader[gamemodding.com] but I'm not sure for the last one, you have to test it out.

btw their launcher is just as broken and it won't work anymore for me 😔 I can't play GTA IV nor GTA V

yep, but not the games
It worked the first time I reinstalled it but then stopped working again and I can't get it to work anymore. I noticed it doesn't detect the games in the log file.

I read somewhere that the new version dosen't play nice with mods. i had an issue where the game would crash bc it had an asi loader in the root directory. Really stupid. This never happened in 1070
