Fix for GTA IV Radio Station Bugs?

Hello,

A problem that I have been having for a while is the radio stations in the game. Let me emphasize further. All of the songs, DJ's, and advertisements work as usual nothing wrong with the content, but often when flipping through stations, or even when flipping back and forth with my songs on Independence FM, the game's audio will lock up and the game will crash, or even worse, my whole PC will crash and I'll have to restart the entire damn thing.

I don't know if anybody else experiencing this, and I even had this happen with my old PC (I accidentally killed it while trying to run a heavily modded GTA Vice City, but that's a different story). I wanted to know if there is a fix to prevent the game from crashing when switching through stations/Independence FM songs? The radio is one of the most precious part of the game, and I want to be able to enjoy everything without the game messing up every time. I should also point out that this is a clean version of the game; it is the current "Complete Edition" version with no mods (doubt they are even supported), so the radio isn't even modded but I guess this is just an issue with the game myself as I previously mentioned, this issue was present with my old PC. Both IV and EFLC contained this issue, I believe EFLC was much worse when changing Independence FM songs, but oh well EFLC doesn't even exist as a standalone game anymore.
