GTA IV won't launch as of 03/19/2020

Hey so i'm having a problem with GTA IV as of today when the new complete edition update launched. When i launch the game via steam it takes me to the RGL and it say's gta 4 exited unexpectedly. I already updated my game by the way. Does someone know why i'm having this problem if so pls respond to this.

Same with me. Game starts loading then crash. I've even tried compatibility mode and still nothing :(

Same here, it's started up the Rockstar Launcher, but the game never shows up

Im having the same damn problem. Was playing it just fine an hour ago and didnt need to install rockstar launcher, then i come back and get hit with all this bs and now i cant even start GTA IV

Are you guys getting a quick pop up after it crashes saying something about "due to lack of privileges"

Yup, I get a quick pop up and can't even read it because it shuts out so quick. At least I know I'm not a lone. RockStar has to fix this, I've emailed them and am awaiting response.

If any of you had an ASI loader or the SMAA Injector installed, remove those. My game was doing the same thing and removing ScriptHook allowed me to launch and play the game.

I can start GTA IV and TBoGT no problem, but with TLaD the game crashes, error RCP10 i think it is.

All I installed was a GTA IV downgrader a while back, since then I've uninstalled the game and verified the games files and nothing. Not really sure what to do now or what do delete.

DELETE ANY MOD FILES YOU HAVE IN THE GAME, IT WORKS FOR ME thank you for listening

Reinstall your game if you have modded it or just remove the mods.

THE FIX FOR THIS IS TO REMOVE ALL OF THE MODS.

We shall find a way to bring mods back....
