[Possibly Solved] Need help with IV, EFLC and "The downloadable content required for this autoload is not available" error
So as in the title...
I had GTA IV and GTA EFLC installed, and after a while I came back to GTA IV and then that error appeared, I know it's not a big deal since I can just load the save after new game starts..but it's quite annoying and wasn't happening before, fixed it with removing EFLC save files and just uninstalled EFLC.
Now I want to install EFLC again but don't want to mess around with this error. So is there any fix for it? To be more exact it started happening after I installed both games on Windows 10 and I own retail copies for both games.
So again... any help with that?

EDIT: Check the bottom post by me this is what worked for me

This error happens when the game tries to load an autosave from EFLC into the GTAIV game.
You've already found the solution by simply loading a GTAIV save file.

If you want to avoid it, disable autosaves, I guess.
(I haven't tried it myself, I don't mind the error because the fix is easy.)

So I need to disable autosaves on IV or EFLC or both? Silly question, I know.

Try both, to be sure.

It didn't work out, sitll getting that error.
To be honest I realized that I don't really care because after I played EFLC I realized it's quite a meh compared to original IV. Many thanks for helping though. I'll mark your first response as answer in case that helps anyone anyway.
Cheers and thanks again

(1) Do a fresh install of GTA-IV or ELFC (or both) unless you already have a fresh installation. This really only applies if the existing installation has become corrupted, been modified or seemingly won't work.

(2) Install http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=201134 - this patches the games so that the old Games For Windows Live (GFWL) login is upgraded so it now connects to the XBOX server which replaced it.

(3) When prompted for a login, you can choose to ignore or to create a new XBOX account. For example, I have a decade-old GFWL account and the server allowed me to login without any issues, but a lot of people have found that their GFWL login no longer works, so make a new XBOX one. Once you have patched GTA-IV, if you also have EFLC, it will automatically patch that too.

(4) Run the game you wish to play. Please be advised that after patching with the application I mentioned here the loading screens will be displayed, you will hear the GTA-IV theme tune wherein the screen will then go black for about one minute and then the Rockstar Games Social Club loading screen will appear.

(5) Set the options for the game, video, screen resolution, controls (if necessary) and then play.

NOTE: your save games and key binding data is in the following folder: C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\user_<long number> - if you have several long numbers, just open the folders one by one until you find a file called ControlMap.dat and this is where GTA-IV, The Lost and Damned, and The Ballard of Gay Tony saves the game. NOT on some cloud - this is a ten year old game we're talking about here that existed long before there was a cloud so all saves are done locally.

No problem, shame it didn't work.

Hey I think I found the solution! I just put xlive.dll in EFLC, done the first mission and now IV still loaded the game just fine. Still, thanks again both of you guys for trying to help.
If this keeps up by tomorrow I'll mark this post as answer.
Laters!

I remind the regular and irregular readers that "X liveless" is a hack, its illegal and so much so that if you try to post the name without a space like you see here the censors immediately block it. That 'fix' breaks the game, invalidates the TOS and frankly does some pretty funky things to GTA-IV/EFLC.
