Owned both GTA IV and EFLC.
What about the owner of both games? WIll they be only counted as one, because any version will be converted to Complete Edition?

I think it will be better if one converted to Complete Edition, while the other should be given free as a STEAM Gift to the owner, if the have both.

Just my opinion.

GTA IV will be converted to Complete Edition, EFLC will be removed (for owners). No gifts, especially in Steam - this is Rockstar Games.

Everyone who has any part of GTA IV and EFLC gets The Complete Edition on 19th March at approx 9AM Pacific Time.

In the short term some music stations will be unavailable - Licencing issues?

Steam Achievements will be available when The complete edition become available for you to play (will require game update at your end to initialize ).

Owners of EFLC don't lose ELFC - they keep it.

Yes, I'm aware of that.
It will be advantages for the owner of any of it, but will be disadvantages for the owner of both.

I'd rather have 2 instances of the complete edition in my library. I don't like that Rockstar can just take games away from my library. Especially when its a game I paid for. Doesn't bode well for the future. If other devs see that Rockstar can do it others might decide to start taking games away as well.

This will not be a disadvantage. Technically, «Episodes» is not a full game - it is two large DLCs. For the owners of «Episodes» the future update will be a big bonus, while the owners of GTA IV will only get the missing DLCs.

No one will take the game from you. «Episodes» is DLCs. Just now they will be available not separately from the main game, but with it (without the multiplayer -__- ).

Episodes is a stand alone separate game in my library right now. If they merge GTA4 and EFLC into one complete edition then they will no longer be separate games in my library meaning that yes a game will be taken away. A game I paid for and I don't like that they can just take games from my library.

I repeat, technically «Episodes» are DLCs. Previously on consoles they were distributed as DLCs. But yes, on PC they are a standalone game. However, they are still DLCs.

That's fair.
