Bring back OpenIV to modify our games with mods!

So back then people would bypass GFWL and social club login right? With mods, Now GTA IV has no longer support and GFWL is dead, why would you need to defend your system if people is bypassing GWFL and social club to play Online? This game is dead anyways ATLEAST BRING THE FUN BACK TO MODIFY OUR SINGLEPLAYER GAMES.

I don't know where you've been, but GFWL/Multiplayer isn't dead and OpenIV was brought back mooonths ago. You'd know that if you actually tried to play it and use OpenIV.

The GFWL software still works and is still being updated by Microsoft. And people use it/need it to get to the online part.

If you want to use mods, your best bet is to downgrade your game to a previous version. Search this forum on how.

Yea but modding is not easy in 1.0.8.0 and in 1.0.8.0 bugs are fixed and lag is for me reduced but i cant play multiplayer because it's dying if you say its not dead its dying.

Yup. Mod creators have moved on to newer games, so no more updates for the older mods for this old game. That's just how it is.

You said GFWL is dead. And it isn't. That's all.

Lack of players for the online part has always been a problem in the later years of this game. This is an old game. Gamers, just like the mod creators, have also moved on to newer (multiplayer) games. That's also just how it is.

Your best bet for some online fun in this game, is to schedule it with some friends.
