Windowed mode fix

I'm trying to find a fix for this issue i'm having. While running the game fullscreen, everything works perfectly, I have absolutely no issues.

The problem is when I start in Windowed mode by typing -windowed in the LaunchGTAIV shortcut that I created. When launching that exe, I can hear the sound that plays during the logos and I can hear the menu sounds when I navigate it. For some reason, all of this happens in a black screen and I can't seem to get it to work.

I disabled GFWL with Xlive less, apart from that, I have no mods installed.

if you bought the game legal , then i advise to use GFWL client.

the latest version from internet, then during game it will download the redist.
when you shut game , you can install the redist.
need to login to GFWL (ingame) to get the download.
so you need to enter your account twice.
once to get the redist download , and second time to login for saves.

remove compatibility modes on GTAIV.exe and the launcher launchGTAIV.exe.
just run them normal

install redist visuals 2005 x86 and x64
redist visuals 2005 SP1 x86 and x64

the one that comes with game is most important i guess.
the redist 2005 x86

-nomemrestrict -norestrictions -fullscreen
