Russians in Liberty City ?

Why do everyone speak russian in this game ? Every single pedestrian, driver speaks russian and I don't understand why, since Liberty City is like New York irl...

Either you have the game set to the russian language in settings or you are exagerating and it's only some of the pedestrians that speak Russian. The game starts in Hove Beach which is a fictional representation of Brighton Beach in NYC, home of the Russian quarter of the city.

Every large city has areas where minorities stick together, the most well known being areas like 'Little Italy' or 'Chinatown'. After a few missions you will leave the Russian quarter behind.

i had the same problem and i know for sure it's not a minority because it sounds like some russian kid voicing over ALL of the peds in liberty city (niko too)
