Can i add GTA IV steam version to Rockstar Social Club games library as like GTA V, Max Payne 3,L.A Noire ?
Hi guys,i had bought GTA IV for a long times ago. I had encountered many Games for Windows Live problem in order to play GTA IV multiplayer. And i finally have solved all those problems, and now i am able to play GTA IV and other additional DLC packs online feature without any further problem.

My question is simple as what is written on the title. How can i add GTA IV to Games library? As like that ;http://prntscr.com/heq56y
I could barely linked my both games for windows live account and Xbox Gamertag through the Social Club. And can play MP. However,my GTA IV and EFLC games does not appear on the Games library. The only thing i see is achievements. http://prntscr.com/heq62i

Have you managed to add GTA IV to your game library in Social Club?

That's exactly what I've been wondering about, it would be cool to have all Rockstar games shown in Social Club library... Unfortunetly, I think that can not be done, most probably because of Games for Windows Live.

1. Go to https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/settings/linkedaccounts
2. Link your "Games for Windows Live" account
=> GTA IV should appear in your games

Can you please teach me how to solve gfwl problems so I can play on game multipayer not IVMP

What problems are you having?
Also, IVMP sucks. The only good alternative to official multiplayer is CitizenIV[citizeniv.net]

(1) Do a fresh install of GTA-IV or ELFC (or both) unless you already have a fresh installation. This really only applies if the existing installation has become corrupted, been modified or seemingly won't work.

(2) Install http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=201134 - this patches the games so that the old Games For Windows Live (GFWL) login is upgraded so it now connects to the XBOX server which replaced it.

(3) When prompted for a login, you can choose to ignore or to create a new XBOX account. For example, I have a decade-old GFWL account and the server allowed me to login without any issues, but a lot of people have found that their GFWL login no longer works, so make a new XBOX one. Once you have patched GTA-IV, if you also have EFLC, it will automatically patch that too.

(4) Run the game you wish to play. Please be advised that after patching with the application I mentioned here the loading screens will be displayed, you will hear the GTA-IV theme tune wherein the screen will then go black for about one minute and then the Rockstar Games Social Club loading screen will appear.

(5) Set the options for the game, video, screen resolution, controls (if necessary) and then play.

NOTE: your save games and key binding data is in the following folder: C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\user_<long number> - if you have several long numbers, just open the folders one by one until you find a file called ControlMap.dat and this is where GTA-IV, The Lost and Damned, and The Ballard of Gay Tony saves the game. NOT on some cloud - this is a ten year old game we're talking about here that existed long before there was a cloud so all saves are done locally.

No, you can't.
It will not show up as owned on Social Club. Even linking accounts will not help.

Ever since the GameSpy services stopped, games that used it, will not show up (anymore) on that list. GTAIV and EFLC are among the games affected.
