Patch 7 not installing.

Hi. I validated the integrity of the game files and I was unable to apply the patch 1070 to be compatible with the mods installed. Is there a fix for this? I reinstalled the game with no change.

All you need to do is just install the patch and you should be done

It won't install. I get an error messege directing me to read a text file that says

I contacted Rockstar and they told me to run a cmd line which did not help. Waiting to hear back from them via email. That could some time.

its a pack that has a 1.0.7.0 downgrade (with scripthooks already), a EFLC 1.1.2.0 downgrade and the standard 1.0.8.0 patch ( i havent used these) just use for 1.0.7.0 patching, i havent tested the other files. i have/use(d) the same file. its safe. even virus scanned again to make sure
delete your whole gta IV folder and then reinstall the game.
once it's done downloading, drop every file from the 1.0.7.0 patch onto your grandtheftautoIV/GTAIV folder and overwrite everything
should work and you have the script hooks too.

also, most mods dont work anymore so make backups when changing stuff. it saves alot of time and trouble
