LCPDFR

Hello, I am bought GTA IV Yesteday and I want to install the LCPDFR mod, I went to install it and my AVG came up when downloading the .zip file and said that there is a Trojan on the installation. I have done some reseach and the responses are very vauge. If anyone has the LCPDFR mod installed, did this happen to you ? If so did you igore that it is a trojan and continued the installiaton ? Any Feedback is much apprieciated, I'd like to get this mod working as it seems pretty cool :)

LCPDFR features no bugs whatsoever, its a totally clean file, as long as it was downloaded from the official site.

Unfortunatelty though, LCPDFR is no longer supported to the same extent as LSPDFR, you will find very little mods for it and it may be extremelly buggy.

I suggest if you have the game/or the money to purchase GTA V and install LSPDFR which features a more active modding community and a better Mod all around.

Though, I have Anti-Virus and when I installed LSPDFR/LCPDFR no trojans were found so I'd double check where you got it from, and if your Anti-Virus is overprotective, which isn't a bad thing to be honest.

I have GTA5 installed and may take a look at installing the mod for that as my friends have been banned from official servers anyway so I suppose it is the last thing that I should do in GTA.
I have a couple of questions,
Does LCPDFR still work for GTA4 or not at all ?
My next question is,
For LSPDFR is it only for single player or is it online aswell as I see a lot of RP ?
However I do undestand that RP is runnned on a seperate client.

Mine didn't report any viruses or trogans. got mine from the official site. i'll assume your gta4 version is 1.0.7.0 or below. the only issues i have with mine is that it sometimes crashes, and if the game fails to load an autosave, which seems to happen because i have episodes from liberty city installed which adds 2 autosave slots for TLAD and TBOGT, the game starts a new game. this normally wouldn't be a problem, but if the game crashes, and LCPDFR trys to recover the game, then the game skips the beggining cutscene and either loads me back to where i was pre-crash, or crashes the game.

Thanks for the feedbak, so are you saying that LCPDFR is safe ? and that my AVG is being too over sensitive ? if so I will install it.

Used LCPDFR already on GTA IV. It's safe. No viruses.

i have a question. How o i install the LCPDFR mod? Also what is the official site to download it and will it run on an ASUS computer

The reason why it came up as malaware is that LCPDFR also downloads another program called Opencandy, which has adware in it. This type is known has "Potentially unwanted software."

Ah, a really really old topic, but let me answer. LCPDFR isn't containing any malwares, just the antiviruses are taking Autoinstallers as malwares due they are just installing without permission :3
