Character Tips
So I was able to beat nightmare finally! Which made me want to try other characters, however I don't see much in the guides section about a lot of them.

Rabbit, Monkey, and Fox

Does anyone have tips for general use + ascensions for them?

For instance I remember reading that people said monkey was weak.

I'm a rabbit main only player. So you can hear me out about how exactly not to play meta. Just in case you do not know, monkey is not weak, monkey can get a high dmg weapon then spam primary and do better than average rabbits who actually need both scrolls and weapon to function. However, this game never really lacks dmg, as long as you can beat the game, who cares which character you'd pick or who did more dmg(the faster characters usually momos)?

Keep this in mind of the following:
Biggest weakness of rabbit : Line Of Sight

Due to the nature of rabbit's primary (linear directional) and range of secondary (it is very short):

Maintain line of sight with enemies means more damage in take and surprise! Rabbit is freaking slow. So if you are new, you'd want to ignore all things that slows you down and just uses those MSG etc. If you are some what more confident at last moment dodge then use rifles/gloves.

What role is a rabbit in a team if you are not here to do dmg?
Rabbit is not tanky (meaning to not die fast while being inactive). Rabbit is not fast. Your only debuff to enemies is to slow them down but your teammate will pick those boost speed scrolls for them anyway. So forget about it.

Therefore, you are not here to draw attentions of hordes nor save everyone from their reckless dying.

You'd be better off utilize Rabbit's only advantage RoF and absolutely busted comparative advantage ---- You will be mediocre regardless which weapon you pick! So you are not burdened to perform! Woohoo! You are free from minmax and is free to do anything!

--still, it will take some nuts to use a snipe rifle.

Then the "build" route:

Your seasonal rabbit: beg the team give you blessing of foundary, and get your aura of blade for speed boost and just stroll around killing exactly 3 critically buffed monsters every 5 seconds. (Fiery/Corrosion/Robust/Agile Flamethrower/Snipers/LizardMage/Cavalry etc)

Your average totally secured rabbit : Get a skateboarder, get a demonlore. You just need trigger displine that is all you need. Wut? Too hard to pay attention to magazine? , get magazine gemini get anything + 80 magazine as off hand then. Ascension? who cares. You will do just fine.

Your laid-back rabbit: Get bloody ammo, get some weapon you want to try. preferably in the direction of something like a +0.2 projectile, + 1% luck per hit demonlore. Bloody ammo kills you? well, get warlike blade and the +50% magazin upon killing an enemies then. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3415995075

Your crazyIvan rabbit: get concealed ammo. and hope you don't run out of bullets.

Your experimental rabbit: read your ascension, and realize the onlything viable is anything that summons blades. Some ascension have opposite demand on magazine management, so basic rules, if you sucks at magazine management, go secondary and never uses primary except emergency. Otherwise you find something with extreme RoF and spam primary. You do need +1 stack of your primary either from scroll or ascension to make it "smooth"

Your optimal rabbit : We don't talk about it here. You will just see momo zoom by and you go back to play coin collector simulation anyway.

Me Rabbit: I'm here to play coin collector simulation anyway. So how about not-a-build? get leverage for completely random ascensions, get fleshnbone line plus the PRICED HP and get RICH! or get backrupted by accidently loot a roulette while holding 500,000 unspent cash.

Nice! I usually play solo but this is still really helpful.

Wait what's a skateboarder?

Skateboarder is a scroll that refills your magazine when you dash.

Gotcha, must not have remembered that one. I thought it was maybe some community word for a weapon category that I had missed or something like that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

three tips each for Rabbit, Monkey, and Fox

Rabbit-
1: high rof guns will not only help you proc your blossoms from Q but will help you with getting more stacks of your ability. so really any high clip rof automatic weapon like hippo, scalpel, demonlore, or even cavalry in a pinch. in your geminis the one that adds both guns clips together can be delightful
2: scrolls that help with reloading (or preventing reloads) such as the one that gives 2 seconds inf ammo for breaking/killing or the one that uses reserve ammo first. same reason as first tip these help you keep your rof up for proccing both abilities more often. always Q a boss first and keep the effect on them as much as possible, the dmg isnt big but adds up fast
3: for golden gobs i take ones that buff the swords. higher capacity and the ability to generate free swords are big dps buffs

monkey-
1: your Q isnt so much good for dmg but if you buff it with ascensions you can use it as a temp buff to your guns that increase many things from raw dmg to adding more inscriptions
2: both your main ability and Q are good for clearing out the smaller enemies as they chain targets together this allows you to focus on the bigger baddies with your main gun (that is also buffed by your Q)
3: you get guaranteed special weapon drops after every elite and boss. this makes it VERY easy to find a strong weapon to focus into as well as finding your favorites. anything you find that helps with gun damage or special weps in particular is very helpful

fox-
1: with the right golden goblets you can literally hyduken an entire wave of enemies in 1 go and do this multiple times in quick succession.
2: FIRE = FRIEND you get a free fire weapon for every boss/elite like you do monkey. any scrolls that affect your elemental chances/damage are huge on her. fire enthusiast and flame shard are pretty much a free win if you can get them together. your abilities also being fire means one fire buff is buffing your entire kit.
3: unless you invest heavy into Q it isnt anything special, however it is always good for getting back charge on your main ability so save them for when you just use your ability and then spam them to get it back fast.
