so, is the console version getting an update, ever?

i mean, on console, the last update is from 2023.
since then a lot has changed and there is a lot of content we're not getting on consoles. is there a reason it got abandoned immediately on consoles?

Duoyi Games (creator of Steam and Mobile versions) gave the rights to make the console versions to 505 Games. They made it and... that's all they did. 505 Games refuses to do anything more, and refuses to give the rights back to Duoyi Games so they can do it themselves.

Now there's a legal battle to get the rights back. Blame 505 Games, not the original developers.

505 Games also did the exact same thing with the console version of Terraria.

sadly like the others have said, the devs game rights over the console version of the game to a company is notorious at this point for not keeping games up to date, so sadly there is not much that can be done on there end. if it makes you feel better the devs have stated how they want to update the console version

I am running into an issue that the game launches but is getting stuck on the first loading screen right after the developers screens. No idea why. I cry. (on xbox)
