Mobile crossplay?
I intend to buy this game to play with my friends, but they only have mobile devices. If I buy the Steam version can I play together on mobile or can only the Play Store and App Store versions play together?

No, Steam has no crossplay with any other platform.

Mobile, Steam, and Console are all different versions so there can't be any crossplay.

You probably shouldn't buy the console version of this game. :cocochan2:
(Console ports were handled by the other dev team that abandoned the game several years ago)
