New content?
Is it just me or does anyone else get upset that the story isn't complete?
I paid for this game, and I feel aggrieved, because I played an incomplete game, and I see that the developers care more about adding characters or perks, than about the story being finished...

There was never really much of a story in the first place. The most you get is a bit at the start where Crown Prince mentions he's against the demonic aura, the bit after defeating Yoruhime-Maru and the bit after defeating Pole Monarch, plus the giant orbs of demonic aura fleeing into the distance.

The bit after Pole Monarch about "Why didn't the Spirit Realm help?" could be considered more of a sequel hook than missing story, so the game isn't incomplete. Kinda similar to "We're just getting started" or "But this future thing? That's a different story" in other games.

The "story" that was on the road map was already added. The developers have said that there was a translation error and instead of an actual story they just meant lore. Take this how you will, but they seem satisfied with the bit of dialogue added at the start of the tutorial and end of your first completed run.

The game for all intents and purposes is fully complete. Any content they add just be a bonus. People gotta stop expecting every game to feed them content every few weeks/months.

I paid for the game, I have the right to know and understand what is going on. In my opinion I found it incomplete, learn not to generalize people.

You appear to have confused this game with a 'live service, subscription based' game. You also appear confused about your rights as a consumer, specifically exactly what you are entitled to compared with what has been delivered by the developers.

Your [subjective] opinion differs considerably to the vast majority. Of course you are entitled to an opinion, we all are; but that doesn't mean your opinion is important. :GunfireRebornflower:
I never said it was important, you guys get hurt over stupid things... besides attacking for no reason, just say that the game has no story and that's it.

Outliers, particularly for roguelites, which this is (Roguelites have metaprogression, roguelikes do not). But yeah, in general the entire roguelike/roguelite genre is story-light, if not entirely lacking story. It's often just a backstory and a dungeon to beat.

It's often considered a genre for people who aren't really into story in their games, or actively dislike story in their games.

I wasn't even aware there is a story in this game. I would MUCH rather have new characters and toys.

I agree, 1 new weapon would be better than a story.
