after i got the DLC i noticed performance issues. my character & enemies lag from time to time, animations get very glitchy & enemies rubber band occasionally, looks like game tick/performance issue. it's like you're playing in a online server with 200ms latency despite playing single player.
and the lag issue sound like a you problem
Have not experienced this at all. Its most likely on your end and not at all related to the dlc.
-Cat in the Hat's Painkiller Smokebomb is arguably the most busted build in the game.
-Thunder Cat's Auto-Lightning build also has a strong argument for being the most busted build in the entire game.
-Birb's kick build will clear rooms faster than Fox's Fireball.
-Bunny's Spore-Blossom build melts entire groups in a matter of moments.
-Doggo's dual wield build current holds my record for Fastest Kill on Mr. Bear with sub 10 seconds.
-Turtle is the only character I don't have much to say about because he's my least played character in the game, but his Tsunami Punch is ridiculously strong.
As lollars said: every character in the game is capable of reaching a busted god-mode build that - as you said in your first response - has you "running across levels and clearing enemies in seconds without effort." Hell, Thunder Cat's Auto-Lightning build has you press a single button - your primary skill - and you don't even have to look in the general direction of enemies...everything within 20m just insta-gibs.
I'm not denying that you, personally, can't get any of the OG roster to work out well for you. It could be that you simply don't gel with any of their playstyles. But saying that this game is Pay-2-Win (btw can't really be "Pay-2-Win" in a strictly co-op game since you're not "winning" over others who are "losing") is factually incorrect considering every character in the game is capable of becoming a walking whirlwind of death and destruction. If you can't pull that off with any given character than that's on you, not the game. As 931numbers is so eager to tell all who'll listen: this game is ridiculously easy.
Meanwhile 10yo Diablo 3 still has its ONE character DLC listed for $15 lmao.
I think I know what he means but he's blowing it out of proportion. I've entered a room solo and suddenly my character will teleport forward further in to the room. it's happened twice on random occasions. I know the door can if you don't move enough when it puts the barrier there so you can't back out but that wasn't it.
The DLC is what you think of it. Like the game? Grab some new characters to expand your fun. Don't like it? Don't. Personally, I'm indifferent on the DLC as I'm content with the base roster, personally.
