Remote play together support

Does this game currently have remote play together support? It doesn't seem to from what I can tell. If so, I think it'd be a great feature to have, especially considering that it is an fps. I own the game and I have room mates who'd play with me, but splitting the screen for more than two people makes it cramped/crowded real estate (especially if played on a monitor). My roomies do have pc's though! Plus, I think people might be more likely to buy the game if they get into it with friends first, and doing so from a comfortable setup is more engaging. Plus, with covid, there is a big opening for games that friends can play together at a distance more easily.

It seems you want to eliminate split screen, but Remote Play is just local play over the internet, so you would still have to do split screen anyways.

Ah no, as removing functionality isn't a good idea. Some people play on larger screens (tv's and the like) so split screen makes more sense in those applications. Also, I thought the play together games allowed each player a separate screen as opposed to just giving each player a copy of the split screen? I haven't tested it yet so I'm quite potentially wrong.

Remote Play Together basically just shares your screen through streaming.

So while they could play on their own computer, it would still be split-screen and act as though they were just playing along w/ you on your computer.

@Atma Ah good to know, I had hoped the functionality was such that you could seperate each players screen to a different display like some of the third party utilities out there. Still would work fine on games with shared screens, but in this case would not reduce the clutter as much as standard internet play. Thanks for the info gents!

Remote play is literally low-lag teamviewer. It works for whatever the host can see (shared-screen or split-screen coop).

Game's a tenner, stop being stingy.
