Jades Basic Set-up to Have a Strong Weapon Build for Every Character
Craftsman Inheritor: You never have to worry about money
Supreme Craftsman: You want to have a chance to get perfect rolls. Will also allow weapons with less than 4 inscriptions to be re-rolled for gemini at level 5.
Skilled Craftsman: Want as many chances to upgrade your weapon as possible
New Look: Want to re-roll Peddler to make sure you get the weapon types you need early
Stronger Arrow: Increase Weapon Damage
Skill Enhancement: Just in case you want some skill damage, but this is optional
Windfall Copper: Just in case you need copper, but this is optional
Combat medic for multiplayer or Shrinking Ground for solo
Weapons For a Plant Spore Build For All Characters:
Off hand Shotgun: Argus>Wild Hunt>Hell>WheelSaw
This is gonna be your main weapon you upgrade. Try to get one as soon as possible to level it up as many times as possible. If you can have an inscription besides the gemini then keep re-rolling every craftsman to hopefully get +40% increase dmg. Do not wait longer than the second craftsman/peddler spawn to pick this shotgun. These NPC de-spawn and it will be a waste to not commit these upgrades. Any chest that increase weapon level should be used to upgrade this shotgun. I usually do not pick any level up rewards till I have a shotgun I am willing to take to the end of the game.
Main Hand Injector: Rainbow, Thunderclap Gloves, Laser Gloves, Fire Dragon
Rainbow is the best so you don't have to aim. You either want an additional beam and/or fast ROF. A lot of green inscriptions on injectors will increase ROF by up to 50%, so pay attention when you re-roll.
Scrolls: Weapon Damage, Defense, Movement Speed, and ammo (Against the Flow>Genesis) are the categories you are gonna pay attention to.
Spiritual Ascensions:
Firearm Specialist: Generally great since it has no downside for this build
Elemental Amplifier: If you do not need to inflict any elemental effect.
Elemental Prohibition: If you do not have elemental DMG
Glass Cannon: Risky, but if you have high enough defense and movement speed it is worth it.
Thunder Smite (Tiger): Only if you have lightning DMG
Lightning Oppression: Only if you have Thunder Smite
Buffer Shield: Depends on how much shield you have. Early on it won't show its worth, but with the right Girfted Man it will shine Late Game.
Gifted Man Random Talent
Always get "for every Elite monster/Boss killed or assisted to kill, +5 Max Shields permanently". This is the best way to increase your survivability without rng. I usually get an additional +300 shields, but I have reached ~1200 shields on multiple occasions.
Ascension Priority
Weapon Boost
Shadow Knight and Thunder Turbo are the only skills you will want from this tree. The reduced range required for Shadow Knight in this mode makes it ideal for fast firing weapons. Thunder Turbo is the best weapon damage buff ascension available for this character. If you can crit get Voltage Surge, but this is a lower priority. Grab Magical Supply if you need to limit the possible ascension pool. Ignore Storm Blast and Eye of the Storm.
Thunder Roar
Voltaic Aegis is a a must have. This will be your primary source of defense outside of scrolls or spiritual ascensions. Get as many upgrades into this as you feel comfortable with. How much you invest will change from run to run and from player to player. Heart of Battle is a low priority option, but its good for keeping up Aeigs and Turbo. I find one upgrade into this to be enough. Grab Bolt From the Blue if you need to limit the possible ascension pool and ignore the rest.
Lightning Strike
Only useful if you can crit and have Lightning from the Void. If you meet these two requirements then everything in this tree will have its use. I prefer Super Charge out of all the possible options.
Ah rainbow spore, never thought of this before, but craftsman inheritor...is it really ok with 20 scrolls cap?
oh nice
I tried bunny for the first time and lost, but I hadn't gotten a lot of damage reduction. I did have a silly amount of movement items to the point I was Moon jumping, and moon jumped into a group of Yokai heavy hammer guys. Couldn't move, just got beat to death. Feels bad, but was pre fun till then.
Launchers are also really good as they have good AoE damage and are really good of Ao Bai as he has explosive damage buffs and just nukes the map with enough.

Also this is definitely not my favourite game mode ever and needs a lot of work around it.
