especially since this base game is so cheap for how many hours I got out of it
(I know it is kinda high exceptation, but coming from creative background, I believe that it is still a reasonable price tbh)
(and I'll also buy it for my brother)
I would however seriously consider to pay half of the Day 1 launch price just for the fox only if the dev were to release the characters separately. If they are charging us $ for character DLC, they should let us choose to buy the one we like but not to have them all in a single bundle.
Plus, saves from eventual DLC bloat down the line; if you want to see an example of that, look at a game (that I admittedly like) like PAYDAY 2; there are DLCs that were once nearly $6 adding only one character and one weapon... and there's over thirty DLCs. A lot of the newer ones can be bought in bundles, OR separately, with buying them all separately resulting in a considerably higher price, in total.
I like this setup, personally, though I can still see the arguments for either side.
