any advice on Sniper choices for Lei Luo Nightmare difficulty achievement? (EDIT: ACHIEVEMENT EARNED! THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!!!)

Some advice for the Polar Monarch would also be appreciate; i did get to him earlier as of typing this, however something out of nowhere hit me and i still do not know what it was, and i wonder what the best Sniper options would be for best dps, mainly against the bosses. thank you =) (ACHIEVEMENT EARNED)

Avoid nightmare and do reincarnation 1 instead as it gives you more options for damage. Take the lightning messenger blessing and for your weapon use either golden bow, sting (for miasma), or woodpecker paired with strike wing and give them both the critx gemini. If you decide to use woodpecker try to take the Eye of the Storm ascension if you can.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of miasma, it good but just personal preference.
Generally, I use bloody drill/goshawk + strike wind (with +0.4% crit if possible) for the crit gemini
Like it was said earlier, try to do this challenge on R1 for these blessings / enhanced scrolls
My gobelet build focus around AoE dmg with Lightning from the void and Electric current (Like the Explosive headshot passive of the sniper, if you familiar with TF2 MvM)
Also, the others ascension I highly recommend for this challenge are : Magical supply / Thunder turbo / Eye of the storm / Voltaic aegis
Once again, it based on my personal preference but I hope it will help

Miasma is at its strongest when playing solo. It deals 12% of the enemies health as dmg per second for 5 seconds and has the ability to stack up to 9 times (each stack deals its own dmg). Against elites it deals 1% per second and against bosses it will deal 0.4% per second. This X% scales off of the single player health even when you are playing in multiplayer.

so update on my attempts, made it to the Polar Monarch, got him down to his part where it's the fated dps check, of course i failed it since my dps wasn't busted so that initiated the phase where all bullcrap comes flooding out of the dumpster truck. i had bloody drill and woodpecker, mainly used woodpecker for the fight. i really want to like this boss but it is way too much of a bullet sponge

Angelic Aura is an smg, thus invalid for her frame challenge.
Wild Hunt is a shutgun, thus invalid for her frame challenge.

When are you deciding on which weapons to take to the end of the game? Upgrading weapons early (Act 2) will eventually accumulate enough weapon dmg that they will reduce your reliance on scrolls and ascensions.

as early as I can, yea, around act 2. i can try harder to commit to a couple of specific weapons early tho, we'll see

You didn't come across a Strike Wing for your secondary? Strike Wing has the highest critx out of all of the weapons in the game. It's why it's suggested over other snipers if you want more critx for more damage. Also if you ever come across the lightning from the void ascension, take it when you can. It's strong and procs often since your critx will be high. If you have that you can take thunderbolt converter or hyper current as well.

I wrote a short guide on this exact topic.
Easiest way is probably playing on Reincarnation 1. Refresh the peddler until you can equip Lightning Messenger. Then find a decent Sting with some RoF and/or elemental inscriptions. This build i so busted that the Miasma effect will probably defeat the final boss even after a failed DPS check.

The most important ascensions to get are Voltaic Aegis for defense and then some +DMG/Crit ones

If you're playing Reincarnation 1 with Lightning Messenger you shouldn't be using anything but -your choice of sniper- + Strike Wing Crit X. I use Golden Bow 99% of the time but if you're into Woodpecker / Bloody Drill / Goshawk / Sting or whatever you do you.
