Frozen Spiritual Remnant in Hyperborean Jokul?

So, I've noticed that there was a Spiritual Remnant in the final resting area, after you defeat Yorihime/Serpent, but he looks frozen over, and attempts to interact with him result in "The Spiritual Remnant seems to ignore you...", what's the deal with that? Anyone know?

Thought I'd bump this by re-commenting. I just went through the entirety of Reincarnation without taking a single Spiritual Blessing to test if that had something to do with it, but he still ignores me.

Can't you only have 3 blessings? That is why you are ignored in Act 4 when you click on this npc.

Not a bug the spiritual remnant in Act 4 has no purpose yet. Doesn't matter how many blessings you have it will continue to ignore the player.

i dont see how we can rule out the purpose. when one of the three prior remnants didnt have something i want, i would like to skip one and pick up something from the fourth one instead. thats enough purpose for me, and i thought thats how this was intended.

I thought it was because the spiritual energy in the area was disrupted by the machinery/ corruption.

I believe from my playing recently, he's only active when you have the Mysterious Jokul modifer on. Or at least; that's the only time I've seen him do anything. He lets you buy another ability and you replace one of your existing ones with it!

They confirmed in the update that Mysterious Jokul does awaken the Spiritual Blessing vendor, and gives him a reroll? also gives Spirit Vendors a reroll.
