2. Die.
3. Enjoy your 3rd person view!
If you add 3rd person "option." without having to "join mp, and all that."
Just a simple SP option for 3rd person view.
I know there are MANY who love the FPS.
But remember for adding the 3rd, you will bring MANY more, who love that game style.
PS. Didn't want to start another thread, when this said it all.
And has a dev response.
Hers hoping.🤞🏼
Have fun all!
Whats a truly odd post.
Either you are, (and this is said with respect)...
1️⃣ The most selfish person / gamer. Not wanting an option for others.
2️⃣ Just trolling with the "have fun all" comment.
3️⃣ Or you just dont understand what is being asked for.
Simply put. so you understand.
Again, an "OPTION" for 3rd person game-play, that would NOT have affected....
• You,
• Your gaming experience,
• Or your world, in any way, shape, or form.
Because...
Again. It would be an "OPTION."
That would have,-- (and still would) --brought the game more sales.
Because 3rd person gamer's could purchase, & choose the "option" of playing that way.
Leaving 1st person gamer's the exact same game.
I hope that clears it up.
Well firstly - others have edited/deleted suggestions made regarding the benefits of 3rd person (being that it enables to see your character perform emotes in 3rd person) - this changes/removes what I replied about and with posts edited/deleted, it makes it hard to see what I was actually referring to.
Furthermore - No - I meant what i said sincerely and I am not a moron as you imply. Maybe you do not understand me and where I am coming from on my feedback - but if that is the case then my philosophy on such matters is "que sera sera" and I will not do as you have done and try and imply bad character to dismiss the post I disagree with. Doing so is the true action of a troll and labelling someone you don't agree with as a troll is basically cancel culture response of fear of being challenged or of opposing views - a shameful ploy.
My post was my opinion in a thread on a forum - a place for discourse and people to post feedback on things and to also for others to post opinions on others posts! I am not posting here as to how the game should achieve more sale and feedback and only against the suggestions that had been made in the thread asking for what I consider things that would ruin the game and my experience of it. Again - my opinion and not claimed to be fact.
My honest feedback is that if the game had the features and for the reason that had been suggested in the thread prior to edits/message deletions - then the devs would have yours and others purchase but would not have mine - exactly as I posted.
I am sorry I do not agree with you and that I feel the features you want add nothing to gameplay and devalue the gameplay-cenrtic nature of the game in my opinion. I am also sorry that you felt the need to defend your post in such a rude way by instead of backing up your points - going for character assassination. This is not the way to debate!
Finally - I am amazed you find a way to turn a positive outgoing message into a negative. Even when posting a post that disagrees with the OP I am in a place of peace and goodwill and not resentment. Forums are text only and there is no intonation to get the mood behind someones posting. As such signing off in a positive way helps others see that I am posting happy and good natures and not as some angry troll as you have tried to frame me! I sincerely meant that I hope people have fun and I still do! You would have to be a real misery to not wish pleasant times for fellow humans - even if your arguing with them on a forum. Life is just to short.
Even you angry person who retorts with negativity/labelling others as trolls and not pleasant debate! Have fun all!
Bear in mind that a user using third-person view has unfair advantages over those who prefer first-person, such as being able to see around corners.
Advantages? 3-rd person view would be a handicap to play with(as a teammate).
Thanks, i don't want a 3-rd person view players(maybe even with controllers) in my MM of the FPS game.
Adding 3rd person isn't just some easy one and done thing. They would need to ensure every aspect of the game, both present and future, would work in 3rd person. It would potentially affect design choices.
Adding 3rd person can potentially take away from the 1st person experience (the same could be said about adding 1st person to 3rd person games). Just like designing a game to work on console and PC can take away from the PC experience.
Quite true. It's seldom as easy as "just adding it as an option for people who prefer it". There are games that have both views but they were likely designed with both options in mind from the start and you also have to consider the actual amount of time and resources each developer has at their disposal, especially when you're talking about indie devs who are often very limited on both. Trying to make the game work for both modes, especially with something as well balanced as this game, would greatly add to the work load.
