Locked In The Next Room Unable To Continue Or Go Back

Playing the bird, first level, in the hallway section that goes back and forth (like an S or Z) usually with one of the npcs in it. Is spawns some beetles and bombers in it. I was towards the end of the section and I used my leap at the last couple enemies. The game sucked me into the next room through the wall, no enemies spawned in the room and I couldn't use the portal to leave. The enemies were still alive in the hallway but I could not hit/kill them through the wall/door.
