I agree though that would be a handy feature in MP to ping teammates that need reviving. +1
Not just to ping fallen teammates, but to ping anywhere on the map/in the environment, even on landscape - see how Remnant: From the Ashes handles it, that's what I want and what this game needs.
It is really amazing that you can transfer even complex information with this function. It's that thing where you have those special cords that make the atoms in the air vibrate and those waves travel at 330 meters per second just to be caught in another magical device, where it is being translated into binary signals which then again travel at the speed of light to the other player, then undergoing the same magical process the other way around and finally are heard....
Isn't that a hardcore ping system? Such WOW! Bamboozled now right? :D
Turn down the music?
You two are the epitome of sarcasm on these forums, a scourge if I may. Hence I won't be participating in any further discussion as regards Gunfire Reborn, seeing as memers and edgy people like you two jump at every opportunity to belittle someone or his ideas...
And we're just pointing things out.
Take a look at it from outside: You get a message like "bla bla is down and needs help", you have voice chat and if someone ignores that - he will ignore the ping too. And if a player can't keep track of what we already have, adding on top will only overwhelm him/her/it further.
No need to feel offended by everything: Things don't hit if they are not true, right?
Tools at players' disposal for indicating a downed status:
lower left - health bars
message on screen - blabla needs help
red circle around the player (even shows how much time left)
hold v - ask for help
voice message
chat message
brains - observation skills (not available to everyone)
...as if you would notice an additional ping when you are listening to loud music and are already overwhelmed with noticing 3 "auto pings" - signals/messages.
And now you're even sexist - "teenage little girls".
Betting 3 chocolate bars you still don't get it :D
